Here are some random thoughts and photos from your average Ruidoso day...

Katie-Anne in her Minx uniform. She had a game today...she had to wear her Crocs because we/she forgot her soccer shoes. She was just jogging around when a boy on the other team grabbed her jersey and pulled her down. She walked over to him and kicked him...a lot. She kept going over to him, and would just kick him in the shin...it was really the funniest thing.

Gracie on her first day of school...and of course, working the camera.
Amy and Evan at the Volleyball game. The family made the trek down to school to watch the girls play...great match, but unfortunately lost to the #1 team in 4A in 5 sets. (that was a lot of numbers...) Amy led the "Let's Go Warriors, Let's Go!!!"

I finally learned how to download pictures from my phone. My friends at Sprint, and those who have heard all the issues with that company know that is facetious...they sent me a wire and once I figured (with help from Jeff) that my ol' Motorola card would fit into the new phone, voila, pictures...This one above is from our trip to Colorado. (you all miss the Nitro, as do we, but this will have to do.)

I have not added a picture from the Texas game since, well, the last time I included a picture from the Texas game. Tonight, Rice was cooked. Hog next week.
Gotta love a kid who can flash her 'Horns.

I took this picture at school last week. Of course, all the guys waited patiently for Palin to get off the bus. (Nobody waited for ol' John, but then again, since neither was on the bus it was good nobody was waiting too long.) The picture would not flip, but then maybe it is a political message...are they going up? going down? taking off? ah, politics.
This lil' baby dear was just down the road from the house. There has been so much rain that the deer are out in force. And, as we have learned, the babies are finally grown enough to go find their own food. The babies are so cute...and about the size of one of the hundred dogs Kim and family have had... :)
"Oh, dear..." "Smile."
This picture is from the Motorcycle Rally today. It is hard to tell how many there are, but the belief is there could be as many as 30,000 bikers in town this weekend. Something to learn about these cyclists is they only need about 100 rooms for that many cyclists...you kind of get the picture. Let's just say, they are a close knit group. See ya'll at next year's rally...Santa Claus even made the trip. Problem was he was pulling the reindeer in a sidecar...kids did not get it.
Following all the fore mentioned cheering, mom and Katie are exhausted.
The artist...
The convert...
The hail. (there was this little cloud over the game today, then the little cloud grew to be a big cloud, then the cloud burst and out came rain, hail, thunder, lightning, cats, dogs)
Good afternoon, good evening, and while I am at it, good night.
