Merry Christmas

(this would make a great Christmas card...)

Happy Holidays...from Tucson, Arizona...

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a
creature was stirring as they live in Tucson. True. We have moved back
to the desert and have taken up residency in "the cave." We still have
our home in Ruidoso, and if you want we will make you a deal. Since
our last holiday letter we have moved, Gracie has lost her two front
teeth (easy Christmas present idea), Katie-Anne started school
(Anway's Angels) and Evan has become even more of a boy (needing to
wrestle everything live or dead-watch out or the Saguaro). Amy is
getting used to the new digs and has been volunteering at school,
coaching club soccer and is coaching the current #1 Mountain View
girls soccer team. The girls love her and the team is performing
better than ever. I am the Athletic Director at Mountain View. It was
a huge change for us since we were in Phoenix and not Tucson. However
the job has been very good and I a very happy to be in a big school
and helping recreate the athletic department. "The Cave" as we call it
is our cozy apartment in Northwest Tucson/Marana. The kids sleep in
sleeping bags (and on each other and on their toys) in the den/second
bedroom and we then have a master bedroom. (Most mornings we have 5 in
bed-who can blame them?) It is nice and new and in March we hope to
leave the cozy confines and head into a house. (Did I mention I have a
great deal on a house?). Everyone is healthy. It hasn't always been that way and if you look back on previous postings you can see why Blue Cross is ready to drop us from coverage...
Gracie's teeth, Katie-Anne and her leg and broken arm...We know the TMC (or Tucson Medical Center for you non-Tucsonans)too well.
We are close in every
way. We have lots of love and maybe being this close will only add to
the love we feel. No matter what it is Christmas and to all a good
night.

The kids at their favorite spot, La Jolla Shores.

Katie-Anne, our free spirit...

Gracie, the compassionate big sister...

Evan, the future model...
