40 Days to Pray the Vote

Forty is a biblical number! We’re instigating prayer for the entire election process—the candidates, campaigns and all of it. But as we draw near to November 4, 2008 there’s no question that a season of intense prayer will make a significant difference.  We invite you to join thousands of dedicated, praying Americans in praying for God’s authority and will to be foremost in the November elections.  

I just heard about this nonpartisan initiative. You can register online and they will send you an email every day with a specific prayer topic. Even though we may have our differences in political ideologies, this is great way, besides voting, to contribute to the election.
