I was sitting watching the introductions for the big game, and something hit me like a great line from Major League. "These guys still suck." It is amazing seeing all of the Hall of Fame guys out there on the field at The Stadium and then they intro the players from this year. I think we have all heard of something like 5 of them. And, how many from the top two teams in baseball? The team with the craziest name/top 2 record Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the (formerly Devil) Rays?
And, has anyone in the world picked up on something (that was also mentioned a bit in SI this week) about COOL dying. Don Larsen pitches a perfect game in the World Series and check out his reaction...it was almost like he had no idea what he had done. Hello...World Series. Fall Classic. Perfect Game...just took it in stride, until of course, attacked by Yogi.
Today, athletes are way too quick to pump up making a tackle (which they are payed to do) or making a free throw (which all but Shaq are payed to do)...this guy does the unthinkable and walks off the mound. Cool. Class.
Anyway...not much else. We started building our Arc. Give us time...may take as long as Noah.
