Summer begins

Finally, we are all on Summer Break. It is a great feeling knowing the pool awaits. We have spent each afternoon at the Alto Pool. We start each morning...at 6 a.m....with "can we put on our suits and go to the Alto Pool?" Luckily, we are able to get a lot done before we give in to their demands.

Last week the kids and Amy went to a farm in Cloudcroft. They rode horses and went fishing. Scuba Steve did a great job "hooking the big one"and the kids came home with 4 huge Rainbow Trout. And, should any of you wish, I will send them C.O.D. at your earliest convenience.

We are going to Roswell...big fun...to shop. When you live on the mountain, the closest Target, Sam's Club or any other "normal" store is only 100 miles away. If only we could borrow the aliens ship we could get there quicker...but then, of course, people would start talking again. Plus, with the 'burban, we already have our own UFO. (Un Friggin (believable) Oil prices) And, so it goes.

The Celtics are world champs. What else matters but Banner 17. Go C's. That is amazing. Waited 22 years for that. And, as I say, worth its wait in (green and) gold.
