We made our way down to Austin for Justin's graduation. 650 miles across every terrain, over the Hill Country and into the growing city of Austin. As you can see, speed was not a variable. (and, if you know the story, then your job is to figure our speed from the available data)
Katie-Anne and Evan had a great time at graduation, which is why we took this outside of the Erwin Center (with graduation going on behind those doors) in the heat of the Texas day.
Gracie joined the fray, and Bevo made a surprise appearance. Across I-35, the Horns were taking game 1 in the series and are heading to Omaha. (maybe 3 National Championships in the 2000's???)
Below, a shot of the Frank Erwin Special Events Center at the University of Texas at Austin (or the Super Drum)...has more names than a Brazilian soccer player helping Scott and Kim at the Magic Time Machine.
The boys, planning either a water balloon assault, or what the next meal will be.

Justin's new home...Texas State University...
Justin's new home...Texas State University...
And, with Gracie...at the famous football (or as Evan would proudly say, fooffall)

...and the famous star, where everything is obviously bigger in Texas, and should be.

We also have some more graduates, as you will see from the newly robed Evan and Katie-Anne...honors graduates as well. Nice job.

...and, the time spent in the pool and playing at Uncle Jeff and Aunt Connie's was great...

...though, I think someone was a wee bit tired after being the really big niece all weekend...

but the kids loved it and already are very sad...
And, as you can see, Katie-Anne was exhausted...as were we all...
...a cute boy, at graduation...
and lovely sis...
Which, sadly brings us to the drive home, where things like this happen...

...and, our water balloon attacks continued...
We had a great time and thanks to everyone....we miss you all and look forward to the next big adventure...(California, Tucson...the world)
