We decided we needed some sun, no wind and the pool. We only had to drive 400 miles, but found the desert oasis known as Baba and Grandpa's house and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the water. The kids, as you can see above, loved it and here, were singing for their s'mores. (if you make them work for food they appreciate it more)

Evan, who only fell in twice and boy-howdy how mom flew (literally, and how) across the desert terrain to pull him out of the pool.
