Oktoberfest

This weekend was the Oktoberfest. The event was well attended, and just about everybody there had a stein full of lager. (the thing I did not understand was that they also had Guinness of tap) It was also interesting in that you had guys in liederhausen and guys in black leather just off their Harley's.
Above, Gracie playing games...
Evan, the sicky-boy, looking like he just finished a lager...
And, Katie-Anne decorating her pumpkin.
It was a good time and they all brought home their pumpkins. (I want to slay them, obviously, for the seeds inside)
The picture below is from El Pinto in Albuquerque. If you ever buy salsa in the store, buy theirs. It is the best. We ate there last weekend and took this in their "pumpkin patch."
This is the front-runner for our Halloween Card...(no, we are not really doing Halloween cards...though it would be a treat for you all...)

The Walk-a-Thon is over. The house has returned to normal. The event was a huge success, with tons of families spending time walking the course on a beautiful day and the school able to share over $12,000 in funds raised. Amy did an amazing job and the community is grateful for her efforts.(has anyone seen Gracie?...)
