A dusting of snow

On Sunday night, we had a dusting of snow on the "Ski Mountain."

As we drove to school Monday morning we saw the snow. I tried to take some pictures of the mountain but cell phone pictures are not great. This picture is from the Ruidoso Newpaper.
Beautiful...

All is well here though it is getting cold. The mornings are in the 30's and we even started a fire last night. We have not turned the heat on yet. However, my parents are coming next week (for the big SVP Walk-A-Thon) and we may have to 'bite the bullet' to heat the house for the desert rats. (Yes, I know we used to be like that too).

We had a blast at AspenFest with lots of candy leftover. Anyone need some candy? Unfortunately, it is not good candy. That is what happens when the floats throw candy out to a whole town of people.

The Cowboy Symposium is this weekend and a field trip for Gracie's class on Friday.

Until next time.

Blessings,
